Keep customers

Two-way texting

Text customers about their own repair, from a number that belongs to your shop, with their replies landing in one place.

From your shop, not a shared number

Your shop gets its own local number, registered with the mobile carriers in your business name. Messages go out saying who they are from, and replies come back into the message centre against the customer and the job.

US carriers require the business behind every text to be registered before anything can send. RVDesk collects what the registration needs and files it for you, and the status is on your Integrations screen the whole way through.

Consent is collected the way a shop actually works — verbally at the counter when the customer gives you their number — and what they are told is published on a page of your own so it can be verified.

A number for your shop

Local, and registered in your business name rather than shared.

Replies in one place

Customer replies land against the customer and the work order.

Carrier registration handled

We collect what the carriers require and file it, and show you where it stands.

Opt-out honoured automatically

STOP is respected, and a customer who has opted out cannot be texted by mistake.

Frequently asked

Why can I not text straight away?
US carriers require the business behind the messages to be registered first. It is not a setting we can switch on — the registration has to clear.
What do I need to provide?
Your legal business name, business type, address, a named contact, and either an EIN or, if you are a sole proprietor without one, a mobile number to verify by text.
How do customers opt in?
They give you their number and you tell them what they will receive. The disclosure is published on your own consent page so it can be verified.
How do they stop?
They reply STOP. It is honoured automatically and the shop cannot text them again by mistake.
