Text Message Program
Effective date: August 28, 2026
Who sends these messages
RVDesk is repair shop management software operated by Stablepath Management LLC. RV and truck repair shops use RVDesk to run their work, and RVDesk delivers text messages on each shop's behalf about the work that shop is doing for you.
Every message names the shop it comes from. If your rig is at Example RV Service, your text begins with Example RV Service — that is the business you handed your number to, and RVDesk is the software carrying the message for them.
How you opt in
You give your mobile number directly to the repair shop when you book service or drop off your vehicle — in person at the counter, or over the phone with the person taking your booking. There is no purchase requirement and consent is never a condition of service.
At that moment the shop tells you, in these words:
“We'll text you updates about your repair from this number — things like when your estimate is ready to approve and when your vehicle is ready for pickup. Message frequency depends on the work. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP any time to stop them, or HELP for help. Is that okay?”
Texts are only sent if you say yes. The shop records your answer against your customer record in RVDesk, and RVDesk refuses to send to a customer who has opted out.
What you will receive
Only messages about your own vehicle and the work being done on it. No marketing, no promotions, and nothing about anyone else's repair.
- Appointment reminders
- Requests to review and approve an estimate
- Notice that your vehicle is ready for pickup
- A link to your invoice, and confirmation once it is paid
- Updates on parts that were ordered for your repair
Examples of real messages:
Example RV Service: your 2020 Winnebago Vista is ready for pickup. Reply STOP to opt out.
Example RV Service: your estimate for $1,261.61 is ready to review and approve: https://app.rvdesk.net/e/… Reply STOP to opt out.
Example RV Service: reminder — your appointment is Thursday 4 Sep at 9:00 AM. Reply STOP to opt out.
Frequency, and what it costs
Message frequency varies with the work being carried out on your vehicle — typically a handful of messages per visit. Message and data rates may apply, according to your plan with your mobile carrier. RVDesk and the repair shop do not charge you anything to receive these messages.
How to stop them
Reply STOP to unsubscribe — reply STOP to any message and you will get one confirmation and nothing further from that shop. You can also reply CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPTOUT or STOPALL — they all work.
Reply START to begin receiving them again, or HELP for help. You can also just tell the shop, or contact us on (530) 201-9947 or support@rvdesk.net.
Opting out of texts never affects your repair. The shop will simply call or email you instead.
Your number, and who sees it
Mobile information and messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with, or sold to, anyone. Your mobile number is used only to deliver the messages described above, and is passed only to the telecommunications provider that carries them.
Full detail is in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
