A rig’s day in your shop

From the moment it rolls in to the moment it’s posted, every step lands on the same work order.

  1. Drop-off and check-in

The customer and their rig go on a work order: VIN, year, make, model and body type, and what they came in for.

    Customers and rigs
  2. Diagnosis

The tech works through an inspection on a tablet in the bay, with photos of what they found.

    Digital inspections
  3. The estimate goes out

Texted from your shop’s own number. The customer approves job by job and signs, from home or a campground.

    Estimates
  4. Parts

What you don’t stock goes on a purchase order tied to the job, and gets received onto the shelf.

    Purchase orders
  5. The work

Techs clock in to their jobs, and the board shows hours logged against hours sold.

    Time clock
  6. Pickup and payment

Card reader at the counter or a text-to-pay link. The payment lands on the work order and the payout goes to your bank.

    Payments
  7. Posted

Post the work order. It leaves the board and its numbers are in your reports.

Questions RV shops ask

Does RVDesk handle motorhomes and towables?

Yes. Each rig carries a body type (Class A, B or C motorhome, travel trailer, fifth wheel, toy hauler, truck camper or pop-up) along with its VIN, year, make and model.

Can techs use it in the bay?

Yes. RVDesk runs in the browser on a phone or tablet, so techs fill in inspections and clock in to jobs where the work is.

Can we bring our customers over?

Yes. Customers and their rigs import from a spreadsheet (CSV).

What does it cost?

One plan: $399 a month for your first location, with everything in the shop system included.

How do we get started?

Book a demo and we walk through RVDesk with your shop’s work in mind, or sign up now and your first month is charged at checkout.
